Wingfeather böckerna, by Andrew Peterson

3.  The Wingfeather Saga, or in Swedish "Mörkret över Aerwiar,"  By Andrew Peterson.

Modern book, written 2008-2014.     ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you like the Christian underlying message but exciting adventure of Narnia or Hobbit books, you will enjoy these books for sure.

So far the first two books have been translated to Swedish, and considering how the author is American with Swedish ancestry, I expect the next two will come out in Swedish sooner or later.

Gothenburg library even has them available to borrow or of course they are widely available to buy.

How does it measure up for Christian families to read these books?

The family sticks together, respects their elders, prays together, and understand how their lives fits into God's greater plan.

Their is a bit of violence portrayed, as they are trying to get away from the enemy, as far as i can remember it was always in self defence and our 6, 9, and 11 year old were not remotely frightened.

There is a deep honesty about how we do fail sometimes and sin and how painful that can be in the processs before forgiveness takes place.

Systematic Theology, Chapter 39

*Just a reminder that this study of Wayne Grudem's book, Systematic Theology, is not by any means me teaching, but rather a simple sum...
