stadsmuseet : The city museum

The city museum in Gothenburg just made themselves MUUUCH more child friendly, with a whole section for kids to explore, touch, climb on, and play in! And it was a gem!

Among other things was this sweet little cafe where the kids could pretend they were working as waitresses and "sell" pastries and coffee.  Lydia was very busy there, and even Markus (crawling front and center in the picture) enjoyed it.  Other highlights?  A ton of blocks that look like they are wood blocks, but are actually some kind of foam that kids can build to their hearts delight with....also a bunch of magnetic words specialized to Gothenburg that the kids (who can read) can make funny sentences with...a really old fashioned street-car that the kids can pretend to drive and watch black and white  footage of how it was to drive in the old days with horses and buggies zooming around...
All that, and it is smack in the middle of the city, within walking distance to brunnsparken metro stop.  We are going there AGAIN!!

Systematic Theology, Chapter 39
